Pistons.-In a trunk piston, the gudgeon bearings T<1>, T<2> are carried by inclined webs W<1>, W<2>, and are also united to the dependent flange F of the head H, which carries the packing-rings. The webs W<1>, W<2>, are united to the head H, and their edges are connected below the flange F by an extension F<1> of the flange. A short cylindrical extension below the extremities of the webs W<1>, W<2> may carry additional packing.
