In a fluid-pressure monitoring device fluid fronts 14, 16 are connected upstream and downstream respectively of a filter so that in the event of the filter becoming clogged a bellows 22 attached to and solely supported by a magnet 38 is compressed, by the difference in pressure acting on its outside through the front 14 and on its inside through the front 16, to move the magnet 38 downwards until the magnetic attraction on an upper magnet 62 is decreased to an extent where a spring 72 moves the magnet 62 and an indicator 60 which may be coloured, to a projected visible position above a plate 80.
