Abstract

1,086,804. Detecting the rate of flow of a liquid. COMMISSARIAT A L'ENERGIE ATOMIQUE. March 18, 1965 [March 27, 1964], No.11526/65. Heading G1R. In a device detecting the rate of flow of a liquid, the liquid flows from a nozzle 4 into a diffuser 5 to create decrease in pressure in a pressure gauge 6 to deflect a diaphragm 8 to open electrical contact 9. If the flow ceases or drops the pressure rises and causes the contact 9 to close an electrical circuit controlling safety operations.
