Abstract

954,530. Fluid actuation of switches. AGFA A.G. Dec. 3, 1962 [Dec. 6, 1961], No. 45648/62. Heading H2B. [Also in Division G1] A float 6 engages a bell 7, connected to a tube 8, as the level of the liquid rises, to actuate a switch 17 by means of a flange 12, on the tube 8, engaging a membrane 15. The bell 7 and float 6 are enclosed by a cage formed from parts 3, 4 and 5. The parts exposed to the liquid are made of synthetic plastics material. As the liquid level drops, the float engages the plate 4 and may actuate another switch.
