Abstract

117,520. Blackburn, A. J. Aug. 14,1917. Electric and like pencils.- The point of a photographic retouching pencil is caused to rotate in a small circle in a spring- pressed holder. As shown a lead-holder e is carried by a spindle c which is provided with eccentric bosses d mounted in bearings b in a casing a. The spindle c may move axially under the control of a spring f, and is rotated by a flexible shaft rotated through mechanism by a pedal or other means.
