Reservoir pens.-In selffilling fountain pens of the type comprising a collapsible reservoir and a presser-plate, the presser-plate c is operated to compress the reservoir by means of a leaf spring j, one end of which is attached to a ring k fitted in an annular groove near the nib-section, whilst the other or free end is adapted to be moved lengthways of the barrel a by means of a nut f working on a screw e secured to a rotatable knob h. The screw e works in a plug d secured in the end of the barrel a. To prevent it from rotating, the nut f is provided with lateral extensions engaging slots a<1> in the barrel. The spring i is secured to the presser-plate by passing a lug c' stamped up from the plate through holes in the spring.
