Novel chlorobenzhydrylpiperazine derivatives of the Formula I wherein X is a halogen atom, are prepared by reacting chlorobenzhydrylpiperazine with a di- (haloethyl) ethers of the formula Y.CH 2 CH 2 O-CH 2 CH 2 Y (a) where Y is a halogen atom. The compounds may be hydrolysed to the compound of Formula I in which X is a hydroxy group.
