117,317. Irwin. D. L., and Ruberoid Co. July 23, 1917. Roofing; roofing, sheet-metal; walls; partitions. -The spaces between the framing, such as rafters or posts of a roof, partition, or wall, are covered with rigid panels a made of metal or fibre and formed with ribs b, and a flexible sheet covering material g is nailed or cemented over the panels. When applied to wooden rafters, slots f may be made therein to receive the ribs b, or the panels may be, packed up with wooden blocks; the side edges of the panels may be cut back as shown. The panels are secured to steel framing by means of hooks k. Specification 104,228 is referred to.
