Abstract

1,170,736. Load handling pallets. C. C. R. BAKER. 5 April, 1967 [6 April, 1966], No. 15455/66. Heading B8H. A load carrying pallet is made from a deformed single sheet 1 of rigid material such as metal, and has spaced feet or bearers in the form of open-ended troughs 14 parallel with but shorter than one side of the load carrying platform. Flanges 13 are secured to the blank 1 after deformation by fastenings 15. The troughs 14 may be divided by cutting and deforming further flanges 22. Reinforcing of the comers may be provided by wire material 4, fish tail extensions 2 being bent downwards over it.
