Abstract

1,170,604. Rucksacks. CAMPARI Ltd. 26 April, 1967 [19 May, 1966], No. 22398/66. Heading A4G. [Also in Division A3] A frame for supporting a load on the back, e.g. a rucksack has curved uprights 1, Fig 1, curved cross-members 2 adjustable load-bearing cross-webbing 5, 5<SP>1</SP> and shoulder straps 4 attached to the upper cross-member and the bottom of the uprights. The ruck sack has shoulder straps 8, Fig. 4 hooking at 10 to bottom loops 9 for carrying independently of the frame, and upper pockets 11 and loops 12 whereby the pockets engage the tops of the upright members if the bag is slung high on the frame, or the loops engage the upright members at the junction of the upper crossmember 2 if the bag is slung low.
