Abstract

A device for the transport of goods or a child on a bicycle, comprises a panier container of inverted U-shape which straddles the luggage carrier of the bicycle. It has one limb on each side of the carrier and an interconnecting upper member on top of the carrier. The container may be covered by a removable cover of rectangular and shallow pyramidal from, which is retractable vertically into the container to form a back-rest for the child. At one side, the side wall may be folded back to accommodate the child's head. The container has a metal frame receiving reinforced bottoms and a covering of synthetic impermeable material, and is fixed to the carrier by means of hooks and straps.
