An improvement in the vehicle roof rack claimed and described in the parent Specification, wherein the leg frames are tubular, consists in the foot 19 of each leg 14 being adjustable longitudinally of the leg and rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the leg by means of a screw portion 23 mounted coaxially with a substantially cylindrical upper portion 20 of the foot and engaging in a threaded plug 25 secured in the end of the bore of the leg 14. A synthetic plastics, e.g. polyvinyl chloride, sleeve 28 encloses the connection between foot and leg. A pair of leg frames are provided at each of opposite sides of the rack.
