Abstract

1,169,617. Valves. J. FRIEDMAN, and J. FRIEDMAN. 9 March, 1967, No. 11241/67. Heading F2V. A valve adapted to be fitted to the top of a casing 35 of a swimming pool filter, comprises a cylindrical casing 14 having three equally spaced connections 16, 17 and (18), Fig. 2, not shown, and a cylindrical slide 13 rotated by a handle 30, having an indicator (31), Fig. 2. The slide is formed with a T piece having diametrically opposite openings 23, 24 and a bottom opening 25, and has a further opening 22 in the wall thereof to allow flow through the slide around the T piece. The slide can be orientated to allow flow through one of the openings 16, 17 or 18, and the connection 25, or a flow partially through this path and partially through the opening 22 and around to T piece.
