Abstract

1,169,348. Automatic circuit-breakers. ROVENSKY ZAVOD VYSOKOVOLTNOI APPARATURY. 18 Aug., 1967, No. 38088/67. Heading H1N. In a high-voltage switch having a spring- driven shaft 3, Fig. 2, which is latched for stepwise movements through 180 degrees and actuates a switch shaft 16 through an eccentric 12 and connecting rod 15, the rod 15 is rigidly connected to a cage 14 surrounding the eccentric 12. The step-wise movements are controlled by a stop lever 25 urged by spring 27 and having an abutment engageable successively by rollers 23, 24 on a cam plate 22 resiliently mounted on the shaft 3 to absorb shocks. The cam plate 22 has a cammed edge engaging a roller 26 for resetting the stop lever 25 after each actuation. Movement of the stop lever 25 to release the shaft 3 is initiated by control rods 35, 36 actuating latches 32, 33 to release arm 30 coupled to the lever 25 through the rod 29. Latches 32, 33 are rendered successively inoperable by cams 39, 40 engaging rollers 32 and coupled to the switch shaft 16 through crank arm 43 and tierod 42. The spring drive for the shaft 3 may be wound up by hand or by an electric motor drive controlled by end-stop gear.
