116,774. Wood-Milne, Ltd., and Ford, W. Dec. 19,1917. Vulcanizing tyres.-In collapsible cores used for the manufacture of solid or pneumatic rubber tyres and of the kind which are made to collapse by the removal of wedge pieces, the wedge piece b is withdrawn by means of a right and left hand screw 0 working in the arms c and C<1> pivoted respectively to the wedge b and a member a<2> to which the parts a, a<1> of the core are hinged. In a modification the members a, a<1> may be hinged together instead of to a third member.
