1,167,277. Stackable containers. STAPLING MACHINES CO. 26 Jan., 1968, No. 4330/68. Heading B8P. A wire bound container comprises substantially rectangular end members 16 stapled to at least the front and rear sides of the container so that the members are slanted inwardly. The sides and bottom together form a mat, i.e. they are joined together by binding wires. Reinforcing strips 14, parallel with the ends of the container, are interposed between the wires and the bottom and are spaced inwardly of the ends of the container. The end members and strips are so arranged that the outer edges of the strips of a similar container, when stacked on the container, will be spaced apart a slightly less distance than that between the inner upper edges of the end members.
