Abstract

1,166,375. Frequency changing. MICROWAVE ASSOCIATES Inc. 10 Aug., 1967 [29 Aug., 1966], No. 36845/67. Heading H2F. A harmonic generator comprises a voltagevariable capacitance semi-conductor 15 which resonates with inductance L2 at the required output frequency. The element 15 may be a varactor or step recovery diode, to which bias is applied via terminal 16. The circuit includes an input resonant circuit 11, and this, and the output resonant circuit 13, may both be resonant cavities, Figs. 1 and 3-7 (not shown).
