1,165,216. Distributing and interconnecting arrangements; two-part couplings. SIEMENSSCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. 30 Sept., 1966 30 Sept., 1965], No. 43927/66. Heading H2E. A distribution arrangement comprises a first group of parallel distributer bars 2 (Fig. 2) arranged on one side of an insulating layer and a second group of bars 3 arranged parallel to each other on the other side of the layer but at right angles to the bars of the first group 2, the bars of one group being connected to bars of the other through apertures 5 in the layer, the bars and insulation being of such form and material that in one form the arrangement may be folded and in another rolled. The insulation may be of hard paper or preferably resilient plastics such as fibrous or thermoplastic sheet. To facilitate folding, slots (6, Fig. 1, not shown) are provided in the layer, preferably parallel to the bars of one group, or as shown a number of individual plates 4a-4e are hinged together by the bars 2 joining them. The folded arrangement may be disposed in a plastics casing 12 (Fig. 3) with the folded parts separated by plane or U-shaped insulating sheets 13 and with one group of bars 2 extended and bent to form soldering lugs 8 and blade contacts 9 for engagement with a multi-pole plug 10. The lead-out conductors (11) (Fig. 5, not shown) may have integral or attached side wings (19) bent to form U-shaped sockets to receive the blade terminals of plug-in units (17).
