Abstract

1,163,677. Mixing powders by gas currents. POLYSIUS G.m.b.H. 14 March, 1968 [29 March, 1967], No. 12423/68. Heading B1C. [Also in Division B8] In a container for pneumatically mixing or transporting powders the porous plates 3 through which air is admitted are each mounted in an externally openable box 4 fixed to the container wall 2 and having apertures 5 in the base 4a. The porous plate is backed by a perforated plate 6, seal 7 and air supply housing 8 all retained by bolts 9 and lugs 10. The porcus elements may be of textile, ceramic plastics or asbestos material.
