Abstract

1,162,699. Aerating liquids mechanically. SOC. DEGREMONT. 9 Dec., 1966 [4 April, 1966], No. 55272/66. Heading B1C. [Also in Division C1] An aeration rotor for sewage has a hub with radial blades positioned for half of the blades to be immersed. It consists of a frustoconical portion 15 and a cylindrical portion 16 which are hollow and allow it to float. The edge portion b c of the blades 20 is parallel to the divergent portion of the uptake 14. Adjacent each trailing edge of the blades is a tube 18 which'has an air intake 19 which may be valve adjusted.
