[Also in Division C5] Waste waters are treated with lignosulphonic acids or its derivatives or salts to precipitate oils, fats and proteins prior to the final separation step. The pH of the liquid is adjusted at 2.0 to 4.5 and the liquid may be heated to between 80‹ and 100‹ C.
