Abstract

1,159,283. Valves. O. GAMPPER. 23 Jan., 1967 [25 Jan., 1966], No. 3314/67. Heading F2V. A valve, for heaters having preadjustable control, comprises a hollow main spindle 2 which is rotatably secured to the valve body 1 and carries at its lowermost end a valve cone 3 adapted to engage a valve seat 5, and a second hollow spindle 6 which carries at its lowermost end a throttle cone 7 axially displaceable within cone 3, and at its uppermost end a screw like metallic portion adapted for engagement by a hexagonal adjusting tool. Both spindles are formed as unitary structures and, in at least the collar portions 14 and 16, are made of stiff but resilient material which yields during assembly thereby allowing the inner spindle to be push fitted into the outer one.
