Abstract

1,158,254. Bearings. PRVNI BRNENSKA STROJIRNA, ZAVODY KLEMENTA GOTTWALDA, NARODNI PODNIK. 22 July, 1966 [11 Oct., 1965], No. 32972/66. Heading F2A. A bearing housing is divided by a horizontal partition 3 into a pressure space 8 and a collecting space 9, lubricant being supplied to space 8 and flowing through bearings supported in the partition to space 9. The partition has extensions 12, Fig. 2, which with walls 7 and partition 3 form an open trough. The extensions 12 are spaced from the sides of the housing by a clearance 13. Thus when the lubricant supply to space 8 is cut off, lubricant conserved in the vessel stills supplies the bearings. The partition is removably inserted in the housing.
