Abstract

1,155,329. Pressurized dispensing containers. P. MESHBERG. Dec. 28, 1967 [Jan. 6, 1967], No.58822/67. Heading F1R . A dispensing head or a pressurized dispensing container comprises a sleeve 20 adapted to be fixed to a container and having a bore 24 slidably and rotatably receiving a valve actuating button 12 which has an orifice 13 and a tab 16 for rotating the button. In dispensing position the tab and orifice are aligned with slots 27, 28 respectively in the sleeve 20, the tab engaging one end stop. Rotation of the button to the non-dispensing position causes the wall 27 of the sleeve to wipe and close the orifice 13 and the tab 16 to engage the other end stop and also a shoulder which prevents depression of the button. In a modification a torsion spring biases the button to the non-dispensing position.
