Abstract
115,501. Frank, J. W. May 14, 1917. Tanks.-A tank comprises an outer member made of parts 1, 1<a>, Fig. 2, bolted together at 1<c>, and an inner member 15 held in place by perforated rings 16, sleeves 18, 19 of the inner member fitting into sleeves 5, 6 integral with the outer member, the space between the members being exhausted of air and a heat-insulating covering 25 being provided. A screw cap 8 has a sleeve 9, Fig. 4, with an air passage controlled by a cock 14 and a spring-pressed valve 10. Perforated partitions 27 prevent undue agitation of the contents. which are drawn off through a cock 23 fitted to a settling chamber 22.
