1,147,253. Stabilizing PVC. ASSOCIATED LEAD MFRS. Ltd. and D. G. PEARSON. 23 May, 1968 [28 June, 1967], No. 29898/67. Heading C3P. PVC is stabilized against heat and U.V. light by incorporating a mixture of dibasic lead phosphite and tetrabasic lead sulphate which latter constitutes 10-98% of the stabilizer. In the examples there are also added polyethylene and optionally calcium carbonate, green pigment and dioctyl phthalate plasticizer.
