Abstract

PVC is stabilized against heat and U.V. light by incorporating a mixture of dibasic lead phosphite and tetrabasic lead sulphate which latter constitutes 10-98% of the stabilizer. In the examples there are also added polyethylene and optionally calcium carbonate, green pigment and dioctyl phthalate plasticizer.
