Abstract

1,145,914. Concrete piles. F. W. PLEUGER. 3 June, 1966 [4 June, 1965], No. 24797/ 66. Heading E1H. A method of producing foundation piles of concrete includes the step of inserting an open or closed bottomed tube 5 consisting wholly or in part of a water soluble material into a bore hole produced in the soil, or into a drilling pipe 4 drilled into the soil and then filling the tube 5 with the concrete mixture, afterwards removing the drilling pipe if present, the water soluble material subsequently completely dissolving in the moisture of the surrounding soil. To produce a mushroom foot only the bottom 9 of the tube consists of a water soluble material, the water soluble bottom dissolving with moisture before the hardening of the concrete mixture.
