Abstract

114,548. Hamilton, W. L. July 13, 1917. Elevated and rope railways. - Aerial railways having two or more tracks D, E, anchored at their outer ends and converging to a securing mast A, have two such tracks caused to diverge from their direct courses by means of a spreader inserted between them. Various forms of tracks may be employed, particularly such as described in Specifications 886/10. 19574/10, 25227/10, and 22976/11. The spreader consists of a frame F and may engage with the tracks by means of rollers or slippers F<1>; it is provided with a curved connexion track J so that one line can be used outwards and the other for return.
