Abstract

A gas burner has at least one nozzle with radially disposed groove-shaped apertures 1 and an inlet 2 for a gas-air mixture giving access to a central chamber 3 bounded on the upper side by a distributing member 4, component chambers 5 being bounded on two sides by surfaces 6, 7 forming the apertures 1 and communicating with the central chamber 3. A pin 26 welded at the intersection of the grooves 1 prevents the gas-air mixture emerging too readily at that point and in a modification a corrugated strip is positioned in each groove.
