[Also in Division F4] A combined clamp and filler valve 4 for connection to the neck of a bottle to be charged with liquefied gas e.g. butane to a predetermined amount by weight comprises a fixed jaw 50 and a movable jaw 62 from which projects a gas supply pipe 65 and which is rigidly secured to the hollow rod 55 of a piston 54 which when displaced by compressed air against a spring 60 effects clamping of the bottle neck; the valve member 64 being carried by a stem 57 slidable within the rod 55 and having a transverse pin biased by a spring 58 which is overcome by further displacement of the piston 54 against a spring-biased stop 51 carried by the fixed jaw 50.
