1,142,078. Plastic boats. BLOHM & VOSS A.G. 15 Nov., 1967 [15 June, 1967], No. 51961/67. Heading B7A. A boat has a hull of glassfibre reinforced synthetic resin in one piece with an oar support rim 4 which extends inwardly and serves as a gunwale 3, the pull consisting of an outer shell 1 into which an inner shell can be inserted. The inner shell is provided with transverse bench members 7, longitudinal bench members, a rim 12 which extends over and is adhered to the gunwale 3. The bench members form storage spaces 9 which have manholes 10 in the walls thereof and covers 11 in the region of the bilge. Spaces between the inner and outer shells may be filled with a foamed synthetic resin 13. Hoisting hooks (not shown) are provided.
