Abstract

Moulds for the bow, stern, deck and wheelhouse of a GRP boat hull are sized and shaped to that boars of various lengths may be made from common components with opt. spacer mouldings incorporated as appropriate. Keel and tailstock profiles are prefabricated to suit different sizes of boat, propeller, etc. Used for mfr. of sports or functional vessels, e.g. trawlers. This simplifies and rationalises the construction of boats of differing length but similar beam.
