[Also in Division F2] A metering valve 86 comprises a resilient bladder 98. As pressure in passage 92 in - creases, a portion 104 expands away from ball 108 and expels fluid from chamber 120 into the supply line 88. Pressure in 88 and the resiliency of bladder 98 then causes portion 104 to contract and engage the ball, thus trapping a metered quantity of lubricant in chamber 110. The ball is then forced out of engagement with neck 106 and fluid flows into chamber 120 preventing back flow from line 88 into chamber 120 of an equal quantity of fluid.
