[Also in Division A5] A dispenser to inject liquid into a cistern 32 as it fills or empties comprises .a liquid container 10 and has a restricted outlet 18 and a float 17 movable with the water level so that movement thereof is utilized to vary the container volume so as to pump a quantity of liquid through the outlet 18 once each filling- and-emptying cycle. The float 17 is open or closed and connected to a piston rod 15 extending slidably through a cap 13 releasably secured to the container 10. A washer 22 seals off the outlet 18 after a predetermined float movement and the dispenser is mounted by L-shaped elements 27 securable into slots 24, 25, 26, or shaped ones. Mounting may be done by mean sof a .perforate U-sectioned sheet, holes therein fitting on studs on the container 10.
