Abstract

1,139,499. Marine generating arrangements using natural gas. E. KELTSCH. 28 Dec., 1967, No. 58928/67. Heading H2H. A generating arrangement for using undersea sources of natural gas, especially those of low quality and/or quantity, comprises a ship or marine structure positioned over the source and carrying a gas turbine powered electric generator, the gas turbine unit being connected to the source by a conduit and the generator being connected to the public power supply on land by a cable transportable with the ship or structure.
