1,138,386. Roller conveyers. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 21 Aug., 1967 [5 Aug., 1966], No. 35220/66. Heading B8A. A package 3 is turned as it is conveyed by driven tapered rollers 1. To turn an article in a series of stages, series of tapered and untapered rollers may be disposed in succession. The axes of the rollers are tilted so that the conveying surface of the conveyer has no lateral inclination. By tilting the conveyer downhill articles may be conveyed by gravity.
