Abstract

1,137,897. Solution mining; well casing. P.P.G. INDUSTRIES Inc. 10 March, 1967 [11 March, 1966], No. 11363/67. Heading E1F. To allow of increasing the separation distance between a solvent injection point and a solution withdrawal point in a cavity formed in soluble, subterranean mineral during a solution mining operation one of the conduits by which solvent and solution are passed down from and up to the surface respectively has attached to the lower end thereof a flexible tube 19, which, on passage of pressurised fluid down the conduit, is orientated in a substantially horizontal direction. The tube is delivered into the cavity from apparatus 20 of the referred to Specification 1137896.
