Abstract

A substantially conical chamber 1 connected to a fluid inlet pipe at 2 is provided with a plurality of outlet pipes 4 each provided with a shut-off valve 6, the valves 6 being interlocked so that only one outlet pipe can be opened at a time. Streamlined deflectors may be mounted in the chamber between the outlets.
