Abstract

1,136,581. Stacking containers. THERMO PLASTICS Ltd. 14 Jan., 1966 [11 Nov., 1964], No. 45860/64. Heading B8P. A container has on one side wall a rib which at at least one outer extremity thereof extends in a horizontal direction only, and a pair of vertically disposed ribs spaced apart by a distance not less than the length of said horizontal rib provided on an opposite and parallel side wall whereby the container may be removably located in nesting engagement and in juxtaposition with an identical container. Horizontal ribs may be provided between spaced vertical ribs to provide vertical location, and the base may be profiled to co-operate with the rim of an identical container when stacked.
