A photo-copying material for intaglio printing comprises a chromate sensitized gelatine layer containing citric and/or tartaric acid as stabilizer coated on a paper base. The gelatine layer may contain a pigment, tartrazine, and glycerine. The chromate specified is ammonium monochromate. The material is a presensitized material which does not require sensitization immediately before use.
