Motors and gear-boxes, mounting or supporting.-The motor b, change-speed gear c, and control levers are formed as a single unit mounted in a casing d which is supported on the frame a by means of a pivoted link l and side extensions which may be attached to the frame through springs &c. The motor and gear casings are attached to the casing ,i bv mating flanges b<2>, d<2>, c<3>, d<3>. The control levers are pivoted to the casing d. The change-speed lever h is provided with an extension h<1> resting in recesses j<0> in the gearoperating rods j so as to permit ready removal. The transmission brake is operatad by a shaft m connected through an extension k with an operating pedal. The main shaft is made in sections.
