Switches, quick-action; regulating switches. - A rotary electric switch for controlling two resistance elements for heating cushions, carpets, bandages, &c. consists of a rotary switch member in the form of a ring a fitted with two screwed, oppositely arranged insulated contacts i of the spring-plunger type which serve each to bridge two adjacent pin contacts d on the fixed switch member and so to connect the supply through one or both resistances W<1>, W<2> according to the position of the rotary member. Pin contacts VII and VIII and pin contacts IV and VI are connected together and the circuit arrangements are as shown in Fig. 2.
