Abstract

1,133,792. Brackets; stands; refuse bin support. TACKO DEMOSTHENES ALISSANDRATOS. 29 July, 1966, No. 34161/66. Headings A4A, A4B and A4H. A support for refuse bins (C) comprises a plurality of brackets B mounted one above the other on a post (P), each bracket having a hub (2) with blind bores 14 in its upper end face 4 to receive a pair of pins 8 depending from a superposed bracket B. In a modification (Fig. 15) the pins (10) are separate from the bracket and fit in blind bores (12) in the adjacent brackets. The bracket B has a pair of arcuate flanges 5, 7 together defining a groove on the bottom 9 of which the bottom edge of a bin (C) is supported. The upper side wall of the bin has a handle engaged over a hook (H) at the top of the post (P). The lower or each bracket B is secured to the post by a grub screw engaged through a tapped boss 40. In a modification (Fig. 13), each bracket is designed to support two bins on opposite sides of the post (P).
