Abstract

113,236. Cleverly, W. B., and Plant, J. H. Sept. 12, 1917. Floats.-Relates to ball attachments having the lever or arm bifurcated and curved to the outer contour of the float. In one arrangement, shown in Fig. 1, the inwardly bent ends b of the fork C are sprung over into recesses in the float A. Projections may, however, be formed or raised out of the material of the float to engage in holes in the ends b. Fig. 3 shows the fork C secured to the float by a yoke or strap g by means of nuts i; the float is grooved to receive the lever and the yoke. A hollow glass float conveniently may be used with these forms of attachment.
