Abstract

1,132,278. Feeding material from hopper. THOMAS ROBINSON & SON Ltd. 7 June, 1967 [21 June, 1966], No. 27580/66. Headings B8A and B8S. The hopper (not shown) carries at the bottom thereof structure 3 which comprises troughs 2 carrying conveying screws (1). The screws are driven by motor 4 through transmission 5, 6, the screws being coupled together by gears 7. Each trough 2 is extended by tube 10 which is formed with flanges 11 and 12 for incorporation to the apparatus, and is made in the form of a one-piece rolled tube.
