Abstract

A switch or like accessory is adjustably secured in a moulded plastics wall box 10 by means of an intermediary bracket comprising upstanding pillars 13 on an annular plate 11 having arcuate slots 12 for adjustably securing it to the base of the box 10 by screws passing into tapped holes 16 in the base. The pillars 13 have tapped holes 14 to receive the accessory and may be detachably fitted to the plate 11. Two brackets with adjacent pillars removed may be fitted into a box of double size to provide approximately double spacing of tapped holes 14. The bracket may be of metal to provide earth continuity.
