Abstract

[Also in Division F1] A stepless stroke varying device for a concrete pump, sorter, conveyer or press comprises a slide block 3 pivoted on the reciprocating piston rod 2, a slide rod 5 slidable in block 3 and coupled at one end to a drive crank 11, and at the other end to an inner fork 6, which is pivoted in an outer fork 8 fixed to a carriage 13 The carriage 13 is moved up or down to vary the stroke by a remote-controlled electric motor 18 acting through a worm wheel 16 and screw spindle 15. Hand actuation may be provided by a crank (22), Fig. 4 (not shown), coupled to worm wheel 16. Limit switches may be used for cutting out the electric motor. In another embodiment, Fig. 4 (not shown), a pair of parallel rods (5) replaces rod 5.
