Abstract

1,131,769. Lift trucks; rubber springs. CONVEYANCER FORK LIFT TRUCKS Ltd. 25 July, 1967 [4 July, 1966], No. 29931/66. Headings B7D and B7H. [Also in Division B8] An industrial lift truck of the counterbalanced type having rear steerable wheels 15 and a body which is substantially rectangular in plan has depending from its rear corners members 26 with reduced diameter portions 27 on which sleeves 28 are rotatable, there being within the sleeves below portions 27 rubber suspension rings 42 and adjusting washers 44 held in place by circlips 43. Each sleeve 28 carries a stub axle 45 on which is rotatably mounted a wheel 15. A steering arm 30 is connected to one sleeve 28 and the sleeves are interconnected by a track rod 31. The balance weights are mounted between the rear wheels 15 beneath frame 20 and also at the rear end of the truck. In a modification member 26 may surround the wheel support 23.
