[Also in Division B1] Apparatus for mixing and dispensing a suspension of an abrasive material comprises a vessel 1 having a rotatable vertical shaft carrying a stirrer 3 and a ring 7a which frictionally engages and rotates a disc 8. This disc 8 raises a film of the suspension which is removed by a scraper 10 and delivered into a collector 11. The quantity delivered may be varied by adjustment about a pivot 15 of the scraper 10, or by varying the rotational speed of the disc, which may be interchangeable with others of different size.
